Factors affecting fire resistance and heat insulation of fireproof door core
Editors:Sen You Yi  From:www.gz-senxin.com  Time:2018-3-2

  1. The thermal conductivity, strength and corrosiveness of the material of the fireproof door core will directly affect the fire resistance and heat insulation performance of the fire door.

The thermal conductivity determines the thickness of the core plate of the fire door. If the thickness is not enough, the insulation performance is prone to fail. The strength of the fireproof door core ensures that it is not easy to be broken during transportation. If the strength is low and the door core plate is cracked, there is no heat insulation protection at the crack.

  2. The filling process of the fireproof door core

If the fireproof door core can not be fully filled with door fans, the back door surface of the door fan can be overheated and the fire resistance and heat insulation loss is easy to occur. When the plate is cracked, there is no heat insulation protection at the crack.

  3. The moisture content of the fireproof door core

The excessive moisture content of the fireproof door core will also affect the fire resistance of the fire door.

For the steel fire door, if the moisture content of the fireproof door core is too high, the moisture evaporation in the fire resistance test results in the air separation between the core plate and the steel plate, resulting in the intrusion of the hot gas flow and the overtemperature of the back fire surface.

For wood fire doors, if the moisture content of the fireproof door core is too high, a large amount of water vapour in the door fan is flowing in the test, and the heat is transferred to the back fire surface, which causes the overtemperature of the back fire surface.
